What happens if I die without a will?

Video Transcript

If you die without a will, that’s called dying intestate. When you die intestate, you have no control over who your beneficiaries are and who is in charge or your estate. The State of Florida, if that’s where you reside, has a statute that says who your beneficiaries are and who has the priority to serve as the personal representative or executor of your estate.
