What happens when a will contest case results in the will being declared invalid or void?

If a will is declared invalid or void, then there are two possible results. First off, the estate can be distributed through the law of intestate. Second, if the decedent had prior estate planning documents, then there’s a possibility that those prior estate planning documents will be revived if the Doctrine of Dependent Relative Revocation and Revival applies.
