Can an executor or trustee be removed?

An executor or trustee can be removed. An executor or trustee has fiduciary duties that he or she owes to the beneficiaries of the estate or trust. If the executor or trustee breeches those fiduciary duties and those breeches are serious breeches then they can be removed by the court.
