Is signing a will a formal process?

Video Transcript

Signing a will is a formal process. It has to be properly executed in order to be valid. When somebody signs a will, they must do so in a presence of two witnesses who must sign in the presence of each other. In addition, in order to have a will that’s self proved, those witnesses need to have their signatures notarized as well as the testators.
