Can a will be challenged if the testator was in hospice care at the time the will was made?

Video Transcript

A will can be challenged if the testator was in hospice care at the time that the will was made. Hospice care is essentially end-stage care. When someone is in hospice, they are not receiving medication to try and get better, but they are simply receiving medications to make them more comfortable, which includes powerful prescription pain medications to perhaps keep them sedated until their day of passing arrives.
